Külsheim – town of the fountains

Külsheim has a central location between the mid-sized towns of Wertheim (15k m) and Tauberbischofsheim (12 km) – at the altitude of the "Charming Tauber Valley" and slightly off the beaten track of the seasonal stream of tourists.

The core town and its municipalities Eiersheim, Hundheim, Steinbach, Steinfurt and Uissigheim have a population of 5,700.

The 18 fountains, which have been part of the old town for more than 1,000 years, make Külsheim particularly attractive.

The historic old town with its castle is also well worth a visit. The hiking landscape of Külsheim promises a fantastic outdoor experience.

The "town of the fountains" also comes up trumps as a Tauber-Franconian wine village. The Külsheim "Hohe Herrgott" and the "Uissigheimer Stahlberg" in the "Bocksbeutel" area sign of quality among Tauber-Franconian wines.
